Chabrieriana for One Piano/Four Hands

An homage to Emmannuel Chabrier (1841-1894), Bolcom composed Chabrieriana for a 2013 residency in Paris where he premiered the piece with pianist Guy Livingston. The composer states that the work does not quote Chabrier directly, but rather pays tribute in its own musical way. This inclusion in a collection of four 4-hand piano pieces is its first and only publication.
