Recipes With Paradiddles Around The Drums

This book is part of a four-book series which shows how to play certain rhythmic patterns in an extensive array of possibilities between the large tom tom, small tom tom, and snare drum. The other books in the series include: Recipes With Singles Around The Drums, Recipes With Doubles Around The Drums, and Recipes With Special Stickings Around The Drums. In the first part of this book, a group of fifteen recipes is given. Each recipe is, in fact, a particular rhythmic pattern which is subsequently shown in many designs with paradiddles around the drums.The second part of the book presents ?recipes? around the drums for one full measure in 4/4 time. That section isparticularly valuable because of its usefulness within the rock idiom.
